Who or what is Torrnado? An adversary? A promise of fun? Or perhaps the responsibilities our parents expect of us? These are the questions that the main characters, sisters Ala and Mila, will answer as they search for their friend and find themselves in… the world of rubbish. A world that initially seemed uninteresting to play and explore.
However, this world hides some secrets from the girls. It blends magic, mischief, and reality. What more could they need for a shared, captivating adventure? By accident, these two rascals begin a game that quickly turns into a battle for the fate of the world.
The performance is created in the spirit of Dorman’s playful methodology. It stimulates imagination, teaches empathy and cooperation, and encourages children to create something out of nothing or to transform old objects into new ones. It offers the perspective of waste wanting to be useful again, rather than contributing to the destruction of nature.
